Never Frozen Dough--Papa John's uses a special high-protein flour dough that is fermented at a low temperature for three days to improve the toughness of the base. Papa John's dough is made from annual spring wheat and purified water, which is naturally fermented for three days at low temperature. This ensures the dough's elasticity and toughness, which the store claims can achieve a crisp outside and a fragrant inside taste. The dough comes to the store chilled (0-4 degrees), which allows it to rise slowly and naturally. As long as the calculation of good time, let the dough in the low temperature conditions of slow fermentation, can produce a different delicious pizza bottom.
Vine Ripened Tomato Sauce--Papa John's has very strict standards for tomato selection.
· Select only tomatoes grown in California each summer in fertile soil and plenty of sun.
· Pick and process into pizza sauce within 6 hours.
· Papa John's never adds water to its pizza sauce, either at its production site or at its restaurant.
Italian Style Cheese--Papa John's only uses mozzarella cheese.
Fresh Vegetables and High Quality Meat--Papa John's uses 100 percent beef and pork, with no plant proteins or water, to meet its guests' meat quality standards. To keep the fillings fresh and nutritious, the brand selects vegetable ingredients such as Onions, green peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes, as well as black olives imported from Spain.
